Headshots
Your headshot is one of the most important tools you have as a professional actor. During the twenty years, I spent working in Toronto with Talent agencies, I often saw talented artists miss the critical opportunities they deserved because of a poor headshot. Your headshot is your calling card and is what agents and casting directors see first. A strong headshot will help you get your foot in the door.
One of the most important aspects of your headshot is that it must look like you. Many actors are tempted to choose a photographer who will over-glamorize. If you do not send out a headshot that faithfully represents yourself the agents and casting directors will be misled and frustrated with wasted time. What I want to achieve with every client is to take the most flattering photo of their personality and spontaneity in an environment that is fun and relaxing.

All parents ask me if other kids are this crazy and the answer is … YES.
If you wake up and your kid is not feeling well or the other one gave the first a black eye. Don’t worry. You can reschedule for another day. No extra charge.
If you get to the studio and it’s going to hell in a hand basket, don’t stress. Come back another day.(Doesn’t happen often but just in case you were worried.
Bring snacks, photogenic toys or anything you don’t mind having in your shot.
Bring a few changes of wardrobe. Keep it simple, similar colour familiesand not too many patterns or logos.
